Now a little progress

Track laid, , even the turnout motors are in position, next job is to solder on all the feeds....

The Skaledale SR platelayers hut, has gained a proper chimney, next a bit of a repaint
The other hut, has lost the redundent down pipe and the gutter on the high side, the groves in the roof have also been filled, next is a new felt roof and a repaint.
Drilling umpteen holes to strip out the interior was fun ..... NOT!

But eventually, with the help of a knife and a file, this is what we got.

Then followed the ''cut n shut''

The 3 buildings, photo this time.
and the layout with the track temporally in position,

Ok, unbelieveably some progress has been made, the chassie is now complete, as a stand off scale impression of a IR DVT, MKIV
Too be honest, this model is a long way from accurate, but in veiw of the lack of information, is the best I can do it seems to me that the chap/chapess who designed it sat in front of his/her/ it's cad/cam unit and decided to design something that no moddler could accurately re-produce
